Right, we had to build our own. See tools/rpm/IMP.spec.in.

BTW, while RedHat may have committed to supporting RHEL 5 until 2017,
it's entirely possible that we'll drop support for it before then - or
at least, require a bunch of upgraded packages (e.g. python 2.6 rather
than the 2.4 that ships with RHEL 5).

No problem. I still build on CentOS 5 for maximum backwards compatibility, but our workstations are gradually being migrated to CentOS 6.
