Hmm, that's odd. We build on 10.9 all the time without any problems. Are 
you sure you're using SWIG 3.0.2? I know there have been some issues 
with recent SWIG releases (3.0.4 did not work at all) but 3.0.2 works 
for us. Is your 10.9 box fully updated? I'll make sure ours is.
