The propositions consist mainly in :
- allowing users to choose and modify the protein density constant(factorization and replacement of the 1/1.21 constant) :
- either by directly modifying that constant
- or by using known constants from the literature
- slight modification of the approximate_molecular_mass to :
- reflect the actual protein density
- correct the minor bug reported in a previous message
- proposition of code to compute the intensity threshold needed to obtain a set of voxels with a given mass or volume
Attached are two files where code can be found for possible insertion in IMP/module/em/DensityMap.{h,cpp}.
Please let me know if there is anything to change, add, or if you would rather have diff files for easier insertion through the "patch" command.
